Having brought it on the 12th of December and not used it, I was proud of my self control, however owing to some serious noises coming from the SV cam chain tentioners I've had to retire it a week early.
So, IT'S OUT  , quick throttle and all, didn't have the time I'd planned for the niceties, but practicality has overridden everything.
truly a beast of a bike.
Small children and anyone with a medical condition beware
Here's the view most will see of it (me included if I don't watch myself)

don't know yet, can't spray as it's to cold at the moment, although I do have another set of body work for it.
and as for the " triggers broom" comment are you refering to engine changes? if so it's got a tuned 139 bhp lump in it at the moment which will be more than enough.
or if you mean a few trick mods, well watch this space :!: ( already started).

Well, good choice of bike Lee, but what happened to the paint, once the factory was done with the primer did they lose interest or something?
Now if they'd finished and it was green...

Nice :)
Be good to have a chat again in the near future Mark, I always enjoy having a chat and trying to learn something from you, it's not hard, seeing as my knowledge is... well, like reading a Beano compared to you, the Oxford dictionary of bikes 8)

Dad was a bike nut all his life, I've been that way for 30 odd years, you pickup a thing or two.
alway at Soho or the Selkent meets, call in some time.
you lot still meet up in Guildford? may pop down when I get some free time.
Cheers Mark.

Got to tame the beast yet :!:
http://www.bureaunet.com/FTP/Rictus/beast.jpg
to be honest, what with the bigger rear sprocket and the quick throttle, I could quit easily out corner it on the SV at the moment, throttle control has to be so precise it's going to take some work to get used to.
so a month of commuting and a new set of tyres should see me right, if not I'll bin the quick throttle and fit a standard.
Cheers Mark.

Trying to decide what colour to get 'her' resprayed actually, it's either gonna be Kwak green with a black belly pan and some sponsors stickers or black all over... Either way, got to get those wheels off and powder coated black!
Now just let me gently make you aware of my feelings on the subject of painting Kawasakis:
GREEN !
Like this would be good:

Kawasaki Endurance racer, coolest bikes ever, no argument.
Go on now, off you go and get on with it, and don't take too long.

But green kwacks are like blue & white Gixers, everybody's either got one or had one... We need some individualism here !!! (Mark is a prime example  )

Mine's black, so it sits outside of the "Chav bike" catagory

Mark: How many ponies does that beast push out at the rear wheel?
if you beleive the dyno sheets that came with it, 138.9
and having just got in from a blat back down the motorway, it's insane :!:
it might not have flattened my eyeballs into the back of my head, but it sure felt like it.
it's geared down for acceleration and up to 100, you just hang on (it made both my shoulders hurt) with a vice like grip.
Cheers Mark.
We need some individualism here !!! .
and look what happens when you go individual when painting bikes....   cbaarrgh nuff said I think....
but with Ian on the kwak.... that is one nice bike.... and green is a must....
