Do they mean a carb'd SV? Had oval frame tubes & more rounded styling compared to the later injected models...

It's the older style SV with tubular looking frame & carbs instead of FI

And does anyone have any more photos of it? Looks like it might actually fit with my system... I prefer bellypans to lowers but I've not found a pretty one that'll fit with my misshapen headers...

It is also known as the "classic" shape and you are in good company. Be not concerned with the carping remarks from those who've had to put up with a bike who's frame has been made from a Meccano set  .

Now't wrong with Meccano - Especially Silver Meccano

This is true. The Meccano SV is an excellent motorcycle. However it unfortunately lacks the latin design flair of the original classic shape. Admittedly it also lacks bloody carburettors but that's an entirely separate issue...

What's a curvy?

The right shape for an SVS, the wrong shape for an SV.

Glad to have the opportunity to put you all straight on this very taxing theological question.
