I have an issue with my insurance. I need to tax my bike, I have the M.O.T., I have the V5. I am missing my insurance though, is there anyway I can find out who I am insured with and what their phone number is?

When I came off my bike last year and the police were called they did a check to see if I was insured. I over heard this as they did it which is why I didn't have to produce my insurance doc's (had dl and mot with me).

Please help me I need tax!

have u tried doing it online, it should check ur insurance automatically??
all u need is ur V5 number!

Look through ur bank statment and see who u paid the money too, thats my only other suggestion!

Hi mate go to your local nick and ask the cop behind the counter if he can do a PNC or CAD check on your insurance details. Remember to take some photographic ID and the V5 etc for the bike. Be nice to the guy cos its a ballache doing the checks trust me! I'd do it for ya but i'm off sick after being knocked off my bike, how ironic! Give it a go its worth a try. Good Luck!! :wink:

Do you honestly not know who you paid the dosh to insure your bike??

Did you pay by visa or switch? Call your provider and get them to check your old statements, then say you don't recognise the company name- they'll get you a contact phone number. Same goes if you're paying by direct debit.
