Psycho ward.

Even if he's found found guilty you can bet he'll never go to jail with the lawyers he can afford. Besides, he'd never last past the first shower

Not wanting to believe anything I read in the Tabloids, Im afraid I have decided that he is ferking nuts :P

unfortunately the way the american legal system works (or doesnt) I suspect it will be another OJ... rich superstar walks free, jurors make shed loads of money for their stories, lawyers make a fortune...

hopefully the prosecutors a bit more on the ball this time but I think money will talk and he will walk... :?

As much as I prefer not to believe the tabloids as well, I'm pretty convinced that he's guilty.
I hope that means he's gonna go to jail, but we'll see, we could have another OJ on our hands as Lyn suggested.

I reckon he is guilty as sin but he probably doesn't actually realise he's doing anything wrong, he's not called whacko jacko for anything... the guy is on another planet..... should be getting some kind of treatment but will probably get off scott free

shame really, used to love his music

I nearly agree with Ian.

The man has issues, and if he has done anything I don't believe he thought it was wrong.

I believe the families suing are lying.

The man has had a very strange life, some of which is no fault of his own. Other areas could have been avoided.

I'll always be his fan, he's a class entertainer 8)

but he probably doesn't actually realise he's doing anything wrong

they never do.... the guys Ive dealt with really believe they havent done anything wrong....... hard to put into words my experiences of dealing with paedophiles and what theyve said in interviews.... so so distorted thinking... but always there is the inability to grasp the concept what they do is wrong....

I believe he is guilty, based on my experiences and knowing how these people groom children for abuse, but I think he will walk because of his money.... the defence will argue successfully I suspect that the plaintiffs are doing this for the money, and as I said before star struck juries and money buying best lawyers etc etc....

Oh.... I will post one thing. For those of you with kids... DONT let them have a PC in their rooms. Put it in the living room where you can monitor them. I cant tell you how many computers I examined where teenage girls had PCs and webcams in their rooms and stripped off for guys thinking they were teenage boys they were talking to and not realising what gets left behind on the hard disk....

And one of the scariest things I ever saw was a demo by an FBI agent... he went into a chatroom posing as a 13yr old girl, within 5 mins a guy was proposing a meet...

I know this stuff is posted on safe surfing things but I worked for the police and I KNOW how bad it is.... Id like to make sure you know too to make sure your kids are safe...

sorry for the derail but this stuffs important....

I saw a T-Shirt recently with the slogan "Michael Jackson never abused them kids.....he made love to them"
Sick, but made me chuckle all the same.
For the record i think he is as mad as a box of frogs, but i also believe he didn't harm the kids. I believe he showed them affection in a loving manner and the families of said kids saw an opportunity for notoriety and a small fortune. Just my opinion like. And for the record, yes i have two young children.

I had to work with paedophiles when I worked for the 'First Steps' project in Gosport. I was an advisor for people who found it difficult to get back into employment after prison sentences, mental health issues etc. One particular lady - no-one seems to think that paedophiles can be female too - sticks in my mind particularly. She always disputed the fact that she had been anything but saintly to the children she abused. She just couldn't see it.

I think that some of the other posts are spot on. His lawyers are powerful enough that they'll shunt him into some 'rehabilitation program' rather than jail. We'll have to wait and see.

no-one seems to think that paedophiles can be female too

that was one of the biggest shocks I had to deal with when I worked for the police - just how many women are involved in child abuse too. The saddest part of it is usually because they were victims themselves as children.

I think the public are becoming more aware after the Maxine Carr case but women lying for the guy is all too common. But very few get prosecuted - always it seems the guys do but not the women involved.

One that sticks in my mind is a woman who'd just had a baby by this guy. We arrested him for abuse as well as possession. And all she kept on about was getting him out on bail and home... she went to court to plead for a community sentence for him and said she would allow him to stay at home...

I tell you this, any guy I was with was arrested for those charges and I had a kid, he wouldnt be allowed anywhere near the kid after that - EVER - not even supervised. Especially as hed stepped over the line and gone from possession to actually doing something. No way. My kid would come first.

going back to the jacko thing, given all the rumours that have always surrounded him, I wonder more about the parents who would leave their kids alone with him.... agree with baldood on this... they saw an opportunity which they put above their kids well being....

Jacko is supposedly running out of money. I reckon this whole thing will be the end of him. Never liked his music, not even when he was black.

Hope he minds his fingers on the way in... It hurts like hell if you trap your fingers in a cell door :!:

Yes, according to all the reports, he is skint and owes $150,000,000.

Dont know how that can happen but when you go spending stupid money with Martin Bashir following you with a camera, it proves he is nuts :P

I didnt particurly like his music either although everyone knows his songs.

I prefer proper Black Music, Soul, Blues and Cottonpicking songs

I agree with Moobie.. he is finished.. although I have watched some programes about him and I cant believe the devotion in some of his fans

I dont think he has released anything credible in the last few years anyway

I think he is guilty.. but like others have said, he doesnt actually see what he is doing as being wrong..

I think he will end up in the nut house

Go Richie, way to find an obscure old thread mate.

Good work.

Nice thing about old threads is seeing names of old friends who have moved on for whatever reason.
