not sure if I can make it
heaps of **** on at work
where/when is everybody meeting :?:
SV not well this morning - cut out on me when I was doing some tricky filtering between two lanes of cars across a curving junction in Wimbledon
all I could do was freewheel between the cars until they had all overtaken me & then quickly paddle to the side of the road before the lights changed
Emptied trousers , and then set about the bike with a large hammer
Actually I think it was a corroded connector for the clutch sensor, as pulling that off (fnar fnar !) and giving it a quick clean seemed to do the job
Don't mind where we meet, although numbers look like they may be depleted ... are we thinking central or elsewhere?
Not me :( - not safe enough to be back on bike yet.
I shall be there
You sure? Remeber its Riverhead and not the Rose and Crown...it's been that long ;)
so I get an evening off from you stalking me then Dan?

Ha, I believe its S2000 top down weather 8)
No Kate, it's dark visor fly spattering biking weather!
How long have you had it now? 2 months? How many miles has it done? Poor thing!
Hmm, this is going to be a bit of a problem, both my favourite toys love playing in good weather, what am I to do?
Right now, the SV isn't exactly road legal, I still need to sort the indicator.
Phantom is fine at the moment, she even has company!

'ow about the Texaco garage on City Road. Easy to get to the Blackwall Tunnel  Good blast after that
Or Dr Squid's hangout in Hopton Street at the southern end of Blackfriars bridge
Where are u Lyn :?:
I guess City Road is good for me.... does this mean you're going to come along Si?
If no one else is going along, then I expect Helen and I will just leave from St James's.
Mr Toad
23-03-05, 02:18 PM

Good man... I expect that Helen will have parked in the square, so will head there for just after 6
That's right, I've parked in the bike park on the southern side of the square. Will be wandering along there at 6.15ish i should think.

ile make it to the square as i forget wherever i am going everytime.
I have some type of undiagnosed amnesia.
Home safe, woohoo.... starting to get more used to night riding again now, Was good to catch up with the familiar faces and to put a few faces to names..
Nice turnout and 3 lovely Trumpets too....
:D :D :D
food was a bit of a disaster tho eh, Dan/Si
yep., no food for hours.
Had a small incident on the way back...how fast can i pass a police car coming the opposite direction, in a 30   , passed the car pretty much, flicked me main beams back on ARGH! reflective stripes.
That'll teach me to ride like a tit. (45mph i think, and he didnt come after me thankgod!)
Dan

My bacon burger was rather nice :)
Tut tut, 45 in a 30? You'd never catch me doing that, especially last night. Question is, once you realised it was a police car going in the opposite direction, did you slow down or boot it?
Mr Toad
24-03-05, 08:25 AM
a good evening, blew a few cobwebs away on the way down
my thanks to Squid & TSM for the wire & gaffer tape, and more importantly, the knowledge of how to put them to good use :D
Assuming the next meet is on April 6th - I'll order the food now
