Hi All,
I’m well impressed with the way the font forks come up after a bit of effort. I’ve always thought it the one part of the bike that lets the rest down..... so I’ve decided to have a go myself :) . Obviously its best to remove the front mud guard to get at the forks properly
Now for cleaning purposes Ive tried to remove this in the past but have noticed a really annoying little clip on the very top of the fender that supports a cable that goes down to the front wheel hub. Initially I thought it was a press stud type clip and tried to prise the two halves apart. Try as I might I cant seem to get it undone without using excessive force and risk breaking it or damaging the fender. Is this the only way to get it done and if so can a replacement clip be obtained ? OR do the two halves separate. Any advice would be great.
Finally - is wetndry, scotchbrite, T cut, and metal polish the best way to go ?
PS Ive heard of scotchbrite - but what is it
