Ermmm....hello...I'm a mate of Pings and I'm supposed to be going to hers this weekend but her bike wont start so i'm gonna try and make my own way there but was wondering if there is anyone who takes the A13 home, who might be able to sort of hold my hand? Crap at navigation and never been that far East before!!!
Any advice/help, greatly appreciated

Why don't you just all come along to Soho instead... I think that's where most of us will be this evening!
... oh yes, and what exactly is the problem? The bike? The route? or just general navigation?

I am going to the Soho meet tonight (by car)and afterwards will be going down the A13 as far as Rainham Essex.
Not sure how far your going or at what time but the offer is there. I don't know the road much past lakeside/dartford crossing area.

Going to South Woodham ferrers....
Thats more A12 than A13 I think.
If you take the A13 as far as the M25 Junction 30 turnoff and turn left (toward Stanstead)
Then at J25 turn right (signposted Southend) you hit the A127 and its out that way a few mils past Basildon. Hopefully signposted.
It should be easy once you find the A13???

Ping says it easier and quicker to take the A13 then the A130 - so I'll give it a go :?

The worst that can happen is that you get lost.
Go for it, if you decide you have no idea where you are, just stop at a petrol station and ask for help.
