With the salt and cold, wet weather just about gone and the sun streaming through the window I got the bike out for the first time this year.
It fired up within half a second and I put a few more fun miles on this afternoon.
Good to be back. :D :D :D :D

I was hoping to get my 4K service done before the bike shops became massively overcrowded. Sadly, it's already back to a 3 week waiting list here. :?
Still good weather, more biking for pleasure, no need for waterproofs, etc. I'm looking forwards to summer though :D
Yep, loads of bikes out today on my ride to/from work 8) . Also loads of really HUGE blokes on 125's...looks like a busy season for DAS

fair weather riders can be a danger to them selves its good to be able to ride safely in any conditions.keep in practice and keep rider skills up instead of being rusty going out blasting it and coming a cropper

Does that make me the opposite of a fair weather rider, I have spent so much time on manky slippy wet greasy roads
I've forgotten what is was like to have grip

I finished early on Friday, well 3 o'clock, took the bike into Manc to collect my leathers from the tailor.
Coming home I got to filter through the rush hour traffic, made me glad I don't have to do it everyday. Did forget how fun it was tho
Got home and fitted the hugger and belly pan. One job done 20 more to do...
