What does it mean...

Right, got a new battery and just before I put it on i thought, "lets do the alternator check thingy" which i did, and it came out with the reading of 13.6 which is obviousy 0.4 lower then the recommended 14 but will it charge my battery enough or will i have to follow the route of new parts etc... And what exactly will need replacing?

just looked in the haynes for the 99 to 02 models and it looks like you should be getting 13.5V to 15.5V at 5000rpm so you should be ok.
