unfortunately i may be selling my sv650s soon as i have a job 2mile away now so my requirements for travel have changed from 25mins ride to a 50pbus non of my friends are bikers and i feel it would be wasted byy using it once a week for a 10mile spin.
it was brand new reg 04 in october in silver with 2500miles on the clock 500mile service carried out by a suzuki dealer comes with full lower fairing scorpion exhaust with or without that has done less than a 1000miles.what is a reasonable price to advertise it????
advice appreciated

you well get about £4000,00 perhaps 500 more with a private sale but much less from a dealer which ever you decide now is the best time to sell what with summer on the way.

Err, I paid £4000 for mine brand new, and Crescent are selling them for a bit less now if you want blue.
The optimistic prices for a good condition, low mileage are edging towards £3.5k, but like I said, that's optimistic.
Doesn't mean somebody won't pay it just to get one in decent condition, though.

Unfortunately, people are selling '53' bikes for as little as £3200... So for an '04' you'll be looking at about £3500.
If you do want to sell, remove all the add-ons & sell the bike standard & flog the other bits on eBay... That'll improve the return (a little bit) :!:

Is blue not a popular colour?

It's odd you should say that.
Blue is very popular, but Crescent seem to have more than a few leftover.
Maybe they bought alot of that colour.

I paid even less than that at the end of November, Daytona in Islington charged me £3901 for the bike but then heavily discounted the other bits I wanted with it.

I got my blue K4S (54) new for £3850 :-P [Q what is it worth now does anyone think - standard apart from scottoiler and road attack tyres. 2K. ?/Q]
I've been offered a cracking deal on a K4 gsxr 600 , considering it; dispite the obscene insurance with my pathetic 25 years and no garage in london...
i bought my 53 plate 3000 miler for 3500 off spike back in Feb. I think i got a good deal as the bike came with hundreds of quids worth of kit supplied, stuff i would have only gone out and bought anyway. :)

How much do you want for the lower fairings ??
Mines a K3, but on an 04 plate, in silver.
Im after a set of lower fairings.. cant justify paying full whack for them..... may go without alcohol for a few months to buy some soon though :)

Keep the bugger and go to work the long way round :D
Summers here so you can do these 100 mile blasts to the furthest away chip shop you can think of. every evening
In my first year, I did 8000 miles and only worked a mile from home.
