I tend not to nod to people in London very much - unless I get one first. Its bad enough watching out for traffic without doing the nod thing...

I will strike up conversations at traffic lights though. There was one guy yesterday on a CB500 who was lighting his cigarette... Very interesting...

you're right, noticed that when i ventured out of town to the green stuff known as "the countryside" every one was nodding, must get neck ache on a sunday in the summer. weird innit.

too many bikers in London for me to nod while commuting. Sometimes there's 5 in a row at the lights!

I do nod on sunny day out rides and always when on the continent, cause I like riding abroad :)
