chaps, i have just bought myself a new viper exhaust and link pipe to fit to my SK3. i am having a few problems connecting the exhaust to the pipe. the chap at viper assures me that it is the correct pipe etc?
1. on the connector pipe is it the wider end of the 2 that connects to the silencer, ie goes over the top of it?
2. has anyone else had problems?
quick answers are appreciated as i intend to go blatting this evo!
cheers

It should be fairly straight forward mate. Have you used a file on the rough edge where you cut the existing pipe? If not do that, then the link pipe should just slide straight over where you cut off the old exhaust, then the end can should just slip on the other end

The link pipe has a thick and thin end  The thinner end should just slide into the end of the new can :? I will be a snug fit but just wiggle it in, it will go in if you push hard enough (waiting for all the dirty remarks 8) )

Well one end should definitely fit over the end of the can.
Idea  : are you sure you are not using the link pipe that connects your old can back on should you need two. The diameter of that should be same both ends, whereas the new can to existing pipe one MAY be different.

 I have this mental picture of a bent and mangled link pipe and can. Oh put something between pipe and swingarm if your using a grinder (or be careful!).

All on now..Looks and sounds awsome... Car alarms do not like it... (Neither do the neighbours when started up at six in the morning!)
