I hate to drill holes into my brand new fender. Also, those screws look like a cheap way of mounting it. How did you folks do it? Did you just use the supplied screws and let it be?
How well does it work? Thanks

I didn't use the screws at all, I used a bonding agent called Sikaflex - top stuff (used by the auto industry for re-fixing bumpers etc to crashed cars.)
If you want a full run-down, PM me

I used a few blobs of Araldite, probably not the best thing to use as it's not flexible but I've had no problems (5000 miles and 2 crashes later) :)
I used Super Plastix by Loctite a superglue type thing. Have been riding about 1000 km with no problems 8) .
I used the four small screws that look quite neat after drilling pilot holes (make sure you dont drill them too large !!). this enables me to occasionally remove the extender to get rid of the crud that accululates between the fender and extender.......its also quite rigid

I used a LOT of araldite, and roughed up the mating surfaces first too. Not had any problems.

I used PU7 Joint Sealer. Made by Tetrosyl, comes in black or white. As long as you key the mating surfaces it won't be going anywhere once its on.
Plenty of time to get it right as it doesn't cure as most glues.
You can get it from most decent car spares places, its mainly used by people in the trade. :D
