Everyone else is really expencive. So why is CIA so cheap?

Reconfirmed all the details with them as well.

If it's TPFT I wouldn't worry too much, it's only when you've got FC cover in the event of a claim that you'll wish you'd paid more.

I've just done the find-a-quote telethon and found CIA the cheapest.

I have not had bike insurance (or a bike!) for the last four years and hence had lost my no claims. Trying to find insurance under 4 figures for SV650s K3 was silly. In the end CIA quoted £580 Comprehensive (no NCD, 3 pts and no garage) the next best quote was £800 with most being over £1000!

I was refused ins. on a brand new SV because I didn't have a garage and it gets worse. I broker suggested I say it was in a steel shed cos that way he could undercut my best quote and a second said that I should insure the bike with them at a value under 3500 as it would be cheaper saying the insurance company would never payout full price anyway....

For once i hope the 'your calls maybe recorded for training purposes' turns out to be true and these idoits be sent back to the nursery! Can you imagine the **** that would happen if someone actually listens to these dweebs and then is forced to make a claim due to bike theft?????

All calls are recorded, and some are monitored, but not all are listened to. It's only if that call was picked for monitoring for that advisor.

I'd call and ask to speak to a team leader and let them know what you were told. Sounds a bit dodgey!

Although: These new steel sheds are now acceptable as garages, but you actually have to have one!
