It's the Active Rider/Smart 7 setup and works very well. As well as intercom, it comes with two leads - MP3/GPS and telephone. Used my lad's GPS to go to Brands today and it's brill :) (once I managed to stop the woman's directions blasting my ears off  )
I've got the same kit - have tested the intercom at over 100mph (controlled conditions on a private track!) with no problems.
anyone herd of Starcom 1?
They seem to have a system as good as an Autocom Pro but cheaper.
It uses the same control unit for all kits, just add bits to it.
The basic system costs £130 for 1 rider and music cable.
Seems to have had a few good reviews.
well i could not resist a bargin.
I got the starcom1 system, some guy was selling it for £75 with three helmet sets (1 the bass is buggered), complete kit.
The cost new would be £130 just for kit with 1 headset.
Good value i think, i tried it in the office with a battery inserted. Seems pretty good. The only downside (i dont have a problem with it) is that it cuts the music completly when you are talking (unless VOX is off) unlike the AutoCom which does a 75% cut.
You cant realy complain that much for £75.

That could be a problem if you sing as much as I do on the bike. And I don't even have music, it's all in my head!
You can turn the VOX function off, or just adjust it to only work when you speak louder.
