 from Brands of all places...with that much choice available to them? Thats just unbelievable!!

Have you got in touch with Brands Security? I'd imagine they have a fair CCTV set up there that may just have captured your bike being taken.

We were having a conversation about this when we parked up there too. My attitude to locking the bike was simple. With all the choice they have why would they go for an SV? So many more exotic/faster/pricier machinery to choose from.

I just cant imagine anyone loading a bike into a van and not having aroused some suspicion

Hope they catch the *******s and allowus to do burnouts on the back of their heads. leave em marked for life and we always know who they are afterwards

A friend lost the key to his bike at a Brands Hatch WSB a few years back. To recover it we borrowed a van from a mate that lived locally drove through the circuit, broke the steering lock so we could move it, chucked the bike in the back and drove out again. Nobody said a word. Had hoped things had improved since then but it doesn't look like it.

It was parked 50 yds away from the main entrance. Admittedly, it was right on the edge of the car park by the road but it was 50yds from the police directing the traffic and there were loads of other bikes about there too. They must have had some nerve to park up a van there though, so I didn't really think it was a risk leaving it there. Next time it'll be right in the middle of the field surrounded by other bikes!

No CCTV covering that area or any of the car park as far as the police know.
