Race wets

How would a racing wet tyre as used in BSB for example perform on the road?

I notice that they are more heavily treaded then normal road tyres.

A set of race wets will last around two laps of a dry track and will come back as a molten mess.

Might be worth investigating the Avon Road Legal wets as they are a lot harder wearing.
