I got an Email from MAG detailing a Demonstration on Friday the 15th.

Details:
Tired of excessive, unjustified motorcycle insurance quotes? Then do
something about it! Take the afternoon of Friday the 15th of April
next off work and come join other motorcyclists at MAG's National
Motorcycle Insurance Demonstration. The Demo will assemble at Wilton
Place on the Grand Canal, Dublin at 2.00pm on the afternoon of Friday
the 15th of April next and will call to the offices of Hibernian,
Carol Nash, Aon and the Ministry of Transport. We want to make the
voices (and exhausts!) of motorcyclists heard by the officals of these
organisations in one loud protest to show we are NOT happy with the
current state of affairs.

I'd be on for doing this - esp if it might make any difference to insurance premiums here.

Whereabouts is Wilton Place? Or should I just follow the canal towards the noise of aftermarket cans?

I had a quick look on a map on the net. I think it is near where Leeson street meets the canal. I can check my map at home later.

I guess I should have introduced myself. That was me that was on the blue SV. I was behind the SV making all the noise(Backfire). And I thought I didn't need my earplugs because we would be driving slow around town.

I see that you noticed the bent reg plate. This was to stop the spray coming up from the back wheel and onto the back lights. It did have a plastic lid from a curry tray on it before(like a mud flap sticking out). I have since replaced that with piece of black plastic.

So D was it you I was talking to about the fairings? You were parked up a bike to my right before the start?

I didnt know it was an Sv that was doing the backfiring! LOL..was that intentional or just a bad dynojet job?
