Just took my bike in for the 4K service and to have a touring scottoiler fitted. I'm very very impressed with the standard of work they done. They had done all the little things like re-torquing bolts (I checked myself) etc. which are often overlooked. What really stood out though was lots of "extra" work which I wouldn't expect to be done, chain cleaning, silicone spray on the bodywork, wheels cleaned, etc.

The mechanic who did the work even came out to chat to me to explain what they'd done, make sure I knew how the scottoiler worked/how to adjust it.

Riding the machine is great too. Cluth/throttle tightened up a bit and the whole thing feels a lot more responsive. :thumbsup:

But how much did they charge ?

You could have done all that yourself and saved a big wad of notes.
