The standard 120/60? or 120/70
I've heard mixed reviews...opinions???

120/60 is the the stardard size for the SV. Don't really see why you would want to put a 120/70 on the front...
I have a 120/70 on the front, got a good deal at the time...
makes no noticeable difference to me, speedo misreads slightly
not worth it
Aapparently a 120/70 section will turn in slightly slower giving a little more confidence. Not really sure why Suzuki bothered with a 120/60 on the SV.
.
can't say i've noticed any difference on the cornering.. altho I don't exactly throw it in
Thats what they said at the tyre shop... Slower turning, more stable at high speeds.
I stuck with the 120/60 in the end.
Went for a pro series avon on the front and an avon sports/touring on the back. Feels much better than the Metzler/Pirelli Dragon combo I had before.
Thanks for the advice

If you fit upside down forks in your sv then a 120/70/17 is better as the forks are shorter so you need the extra hight to compensate and as I raised the rear end by fitting a trx shock it did make a differenc to how my bike turned into a corner

What about the rear ? How big can you go ?
Or stick with 160/60/ZR17 ?
