And lets keep this thread short and this frequency clear for vital updates (says he, cluttering it already).

Can I follow in the car :?:

Rich, want to see how the bike handles with two-up?

I called Bike Team to see if I could get a tempoary insurance. I can't :(

You're braver than me

Just a hunch, but i think that Biketeam are a little less flexible about things like this; their policies are cheap but I think the downside is that they're a little limited in what they can offer.

Try a bigger company like Bennett's or Carol Nash.

Or find someone willing to add your bike to a multi-bike policy and you as an additional rider?

Chaps, we should move this conversation and a few of thse posts over to the other thread because this thread was started as folks couldnt find stuff in the ongoing discussion one.
Not being funny or anything just think we should keep this one bare bones.
:D

Seriously tho I'm trying to decide whats for the best with pillions as Im only tiptoe on the bike as it is and what with dips in the road etc its bad enough as it is.
I may have to get the seat reduced or something.
If I was able to id offer, although I expect youd rather sit on top of an unexploded bomb with your pants round you ankles and your genitals covered in dog food down at the RSPCA* than ride pillion on a bike ridden by me.

* I'm assuming thats not your idea of fun.

 I have full confidence in your driving ability  However, I'm not a fan being the pillion - I prefer the freedom of control :P

 I was being sincere, however I'd forgotten the time you nearly rode into a cliff, and was close to taking me off with you  Good times

Just called OnLineBikeQuote.co.uk, £540 for the whole year, and then I could do a refund. But I was thinking - you get that 'cooling off period', don't you?

I was going to say Im sure theres a 14 day cooling off...

Normally if you break you pay the deposit, plus some extra as I found out but I think the 14 day thing stands. If you go down that route delete this e-trail tho....

Oh and that will teach you to follow me and not look where you are going yourself. I got myself out of it tho, didnt I

I remember that, I just didnt see it coming. Tiredness and I remember it was a going form light to shade thing...On a separate occassion I also remember the Jelster obviously thinking if Rich can pass that car Ill follow him through...what I didnt see and neither did Steve I think was a white rock face in dazzling sunlight on coming out of the tunnel. I think Steve may have 'followed through' but in a different way  Are you reading this Steve.....

But you would have been proud of me the other eve, I was doing the round and round the roundabout thing scrubbing in tyres. Trouble was it was the rush hour which wasnt such a good idea, and I havent found a deserted one to go the other way around yet...

Cliff jumping is a genuine biking issue for some of us. I know I've nearly gone over cliffs at least a few times now.
