Good routes from Guildford

Any suggestions for a good route to take starting from and finishing in Guildford ? I've pottled down the A283 and A285 to Petworth and they give you a nice run to the south coast.

I also went through Steep (B road between A3 and A32) which gave me a good twisty climb for a few miles.

Just wanting some suggestions of roads people like.

Well there's a good road which goes for a few miles between Wanborough and Normandy which is good fun, try here for a starting point:

Take Wanborough Lane -> Westwood Lane into Normandy, take a right at the end of the road then take a right at the first set of traffic lights (if I remember rightly) and head through Normandy / Pirbright area, lots of cool roads :-)

The A246 out of Guildford towards Bookham/Dorking is good fun in some sections. Also the A25 is good fun too if you want a fairly fast ride.
