I'll be there, always keep the SV toolkit with me too. I don't have a problem with it, but I know some people don't trust using it. But then, I don't over tighten all the bolts *cough* Dan

check the announcement at the start of the SELKENT forum section - it even has a map :D
Viney,
To be honest, whatever is convenient for you... I finish work at 5:30... then probably meet up with the gang around 6... Riverhead for 7:30.
However, can bypass the gang bit, and head straight there for about 6:30 if that would suit you better?

Im just thinking of light that was all. i can be there for about 7.
Guys - I'm not going to make it in the interest of not adding mileage to the SV in its "for sale" state.
Would I still be welcome in a couple of weeks on the new bike??

Now you are asking. You realise if you turn up on anything but an SV you get dodgy looks? :P

See you there.
Well Viney,
I think I can be there by 7pm if that suits you, thanks very much. I'm sure your experience will be extremely valuable!
Mmm, Hannah wants me to go skating instead of biking. She says I need to work off the flab!
Shame as I really would like to meet you all finally. Do you all still go if it's raining?

Dawn, this lot aint being helpful.
The riverhead is a Harvester returant based in er...Riverhead. This is on the A25 East of the A21(travelling from the south.)
It looks like i'll be there from about 7 sorting out billys bike.

Not gonna make it now from the looks of things...
Not enough fuel in the bike or the car to grt there & back and I am owed £200+ in expenses from work  , thus not having any money to fill the tanks!
See you all next time!
I'll be there arround 8ish, leaving work at 7 tonight.
AA suggested route is 67 miles arround the M25..
I think i'll go through town!

And I still have half of my fairing off from sorting (well - diagnosing!) my overheating problem. :(
I think I'll sit in with my bottle of Vodka and some Coke!
Thanks for the offer though mate! :D
i aint got a tenner anyway!
Thanks you lot fro turning up and making the night what it was.
So Billy, the bike any different?
So Billy, the bike any different?
Massively so!
The two things are were most obvious: 1) Much much smoother running, feels free-er, less Harley-like. Most noticeable in the lower end. 2) Quieter, by quite a lot - it's lost a lot of it's grunty noise. :?
I'm not sure how performance has been affected, it might have felt a bit slower, but more likely is that it didn't sound so forceful, leading me to think the bike wasn't making as much effort.
I was amazed that as soon as the throttles were balanced, the revs shot from idle 1350rpm, to nearly 2000rpm. They seem to be hovering around the 1500 mark at the moment, so still needs a bit of adjusting down.
I certainly learnt a thing or two - so many thanks Viney!
