Hmmm. Fitted tank spacers to me motaa, and scraped off the undertank foam.

It now runs poorly at high (8k+) RPM's in cool or damp weather.

Could the tank spacers have caused it to run lean? Anyone else had to Re-Jet for this mod? Its running a standard Air filter, and a road legal (fixed baffle) can.

What are other's experiences with tank spacers?

It could just be running lean, I suppose... I've had absolutely no running issues with the spacers and Race RS filter, riding in all sorts, but it's not impossible that it's just that.

Get the same thing with mine, not so bad without the tank spacers... I just leave my spacers off in crap weather

Best I have a fiddle and experiment this weekend. I'm not ruling out the possibility I could have disturbed something whilst fitting them, but I'm usually very meticulous checking that nothing has been disturbed etc. Spose it could be a fuel line nipped also.

Investigation for this weekend anyways.
