Has anyone heard of the guage cluster going bad? I took my whole bike apart because the guages started flickering on and off and now dont work unless I put the bike in first and let the clutch out while holding the brake to bring the RPM's down to about a thousand. When I got the guage cluster apart I tapped on the housing for the guages with the bike running and it shut off and tapped again in the same spot and they turned back on. Can anyone help me? Anyone have or know of someone who has a guage cluster for sale?
Thanks,
Damian

:( Sounds like a dry joint/ faulty connection. How old's the bike? Is there any warranty left to run?

I checked all the connections and they were all clean and tight. I think the circuit board might be cracked in the guage cluster somehow.

i had a similar problem, turned out to be some loose wires on the left hand side (sitting on the bike) of the clocks.

there's a big connector block and i ended up hard wiring some of them to keep my clocks working

my problem was when i hit bump etc so the connection was coming loose everytime

What would all shut off? On my bike its only the tach the speedo and of course the odometer and the fuel light. I dont understand why.
