White wheels aren't to bad to keep so far, I use auto glym motorcycle cleaner on them takes any deposits of although I don't allow the dirt to build up. Forgot to mention my HEL performance braids front and rear as well.
Cheers Darryl

Are the wheels off a gixer - they look like the ones I used to have on my old gsxr600? If so, how did you get the back wheel to fit in the space (gixer is a 180)

The wheels are the standard sv wheels powder coated white. Cost £50 to be coated. I got this done before I took it from the show room so I wasnt charged for tyre removal and refitting etc.
Thanks for all the nice comments.
cheers Darryl
PS... It will be forsale very soon.

The dog bones are simple to make. Two pieces of 5mm iron bar shaped the same as the originals. I removed the originals and carefully got my bike where it wanted ie height wise. by using a jack. then measured the centres of the bolt holes where the originals where. I think they were shorter by 15mm iirc?? although don't quote me on it.
Advantages........
being 6ft2 tall i no longer fold my knees over my shoulder every time i stop and put my feet down.
Bike turns alot faster ( took a while to get used to this) and doesnt feels as soggy in the front. the rear feels stiffer aswell and has transformed my handling... this is of course only my opinion, the bike suits me to a tee.
Got the race bike look with tail nicely sitting high in the air.
Foot pegs no longer catch the ground.
I got a few pains in the wrists at the very start but I have now gotten used to it and it no longer happens. I did a 650 mile trip with no problems.
cheers darryl

Best thing about this picture is the VW Corrado G60 in the background. Recently just sold my Corrado VR6.
Magic car!
Nice bike by the way.

Less salt in the dogfood apparently :)
Dogbones are the things at the bottom of your shock that look like dogbones.

Daryll,
if you are going to be making some dogbones I wouldn't mind a set being a tall lad myself. Can you let me know a price?
thanks

Sickening isn't it, if it makes you feel any better, most people now exactly how you feel.
