The 180/55 isn't for you- you want a 160/60. It might fit on your wheel but it'll be pinched and potentially very dangerous, not worth the risk. The 120/70/17 isn't the recommended fitment for the SV but it should work. Might have mudguard clearance issues, I know most 120/70s will fit on a carbed SV no probs though. It'd raise the front end so you'd want to drop the forks through the yokes to compensate.

There's quite often part worn tyres on Ebay for the SV, though they tend to be raced ones. What Metzeller is it, your message looks a little messed up...

Sorry, OEM means, er, don;t know what exactly but basically means stock part- so the OEM tyres are the one Suzuki fits.Think it might be Original Equipment of Manufacture but equally, that could be rubbish :)

Those Metzlers are usually said to be rubbish, i've never tried 'em. Those are probably the original tyres, like all the worst tyres they're not only rubbish, but they last forever :) Are yours worn out or do you just want to upgrade?

Don't know much about Bridgestones, but the Metzeler Z6- Roadtec- is pretty much all-conquering, if you check out the reviews. Long lasting and sticky, lovely. Don't get all hung up on super-sticky, the SV doesn't need a supersport tyre unless you regularily ride like a maniac- the Z6 (or Diablo Strada, or Road Attack, or 020, or Avon AV45/46, or whatever the Bridgestone equivalent is, should all serve you very well.

The Z6's isn't quite up to fast track riding, that's the only thing it can't do- great tyre, and actually a better road tyre than the stickier Sportecs IMHO. Plus it'll give you 12000 miles to the rear, which is just remarkable in such a good tyre.
