View Full Version : Fitting Blue Flame Evo Baffle
Hi guys,
Recieved my baffle for my blue flame. Without instructions on how to fit it
Well what can you expect for something which was free!
Any idea how to fit it? Below is a pic of the bits I recieved in my pack:

Ok well here goes
The long tube on the right of th e picture goes in the top port
The small metal bung like object is a bung for the bottom port
The round clip things with the holes in the end are called circlips, put the baffles in and then you will notice a recess or grove in each port, the circlip slots into that, If you havent got any get a pair of circlip pliers from halfords and you can use those to compress the circlip and then remove the pliers and it will ping out into the recess thus securing your baffles
The ports are different sizes so use the small circlip for the bottom port and the bigger one for the top port
As for the other bit. to the left on the bottom port baffle, not sure what that is...

cheers dude, will give it a go 2moro!
that little bit next to the long baffle is probably something to do with my footrest spacers. Didn't think it had owt to do with the baffles!!!
Nice one mate, Thanks a lot

You're welcome, let us know how you get on
dont use anything else but cirlip plyrs as it could damage the baffle (scratch it at least)
also they seem very tight at first, but after you put in on and take it off a few times - piece of pie :)
good luck with the MOT :)

Ahh well.. you beat me to it  YOU WON!
You got your bits before me, and I sent them a SAE as well
And I've onyl asked them for a clamp.
Oh yeah BTW: that bottom bung, once it's out...AWESOME sound
lol take both baffles out, its even better.
i'm only putting them in for bikesafe, then i'm taking them back out again!!
it passed its MOT with the baffles out anyways...
