My Bike already came with a Tax Disk. It's running out by the end of this month.
What do i need to do to renew it ? As i thinkthat the renewal forms have been sent to the previous owner of the bike :?
Contact the DVLA, then take the form they send with payment, insurance doc and MOT doc (if needed) to a post office.

Just take your V5 (logbook) and your insurance cover note to the post office and pay over the counter.
You can do it by phone and the DVLA send out your tax disc but I prefer to pay my money and have the disc in hand.
Hope this helps

Thanks simple simon
That sounds easy. Do i get the tax disk straight away from the post office ? Or will it be sent to me ?

If done at the counter you will recieve your tax disc straight away.
You should've received a vehicle licence application ( V11 ) via mail to the address on your V5 I have mine for end of april dammit I really don't think bikes should have to pay a bean for such rubbish.
MOT, proof of insurance and V5 are what's needed.
Wiltshire, where can you apply online??
possible problem if you haven't recieved your new V5 from dvla listing you as the new registered keeper and you bought the bike over 2 months ago you will be refused a tax disc even with the transfer slip.
Crazy it sounds but the law/regulations changed and the transfer slip is now only valid for 2 months, you'll need a V62 form (new keeper V5 app') and it can take up to 4 weeks for your new V5 to turn up, If you send the transfer slip you won't have to pay the £19 but do strongly suggest sendind it via recorded delivery to prove you posted it should it magically dissapear while in the possesion of the so called 'loyal' mail.
Hope this help's
