My gloves still haven't dried out

Viney, that road is the A470 at Storey Arms, between Brecon and Merthyr Tydfil. We also did the Rhigos and the Bwlch, both of which are in the Rhondda area.

Did anyone get their knee down on "the Keyhole"?

Still in Aberystwyth and it's absolutely amazing. I'm going to go see some friends who live on the seafront, then will hang around with the bikers there for a bit before a high speed run back through the mountains to home.

Cleaned mine this lunchtime. Wasn't too bad considering, but I'll give it a really good clean next weekend

Think I'll be investing in one of those Spada oversuits that Ceri and Mass have

After yesterday and at that price it does look tempting, will it fold up small enough to get it under pillion seat ?

The Mass
24-04-05, 08:26 PM
Hiya Fizz,

It's a bit bulky to be honest mate to go under the pillion. It's quite padded, sort of double lined, I think it would be a bit of a struggle to get it under the pillion :?
But well worth the money, Nagai has had about a couple of them so far, and I think they came highly rated in MCN or something, I seem to remember him telling me.

I have got a black oversuit that one of the lads in work gave me, that does roll into itself into a zipped pocket thing, but it's not as wind/water proof as the Spada. It also rips quite easily. whilst the Spada seems to be real easy to get over your boots.

Mass - mine was ultra-stinky too.

Cleaned it this morning, took bloody hours but as it is in such good nick (nice one Mr Curtis again), well worth it.

I didn't mind as the weather was good and I bought a new 40m hose :)

Hi Ian,

Glad your treating her as she deserves ;)

Sorry I missed the ride, a couple of things came up that I couldn't put off.

To be honest I was slightly relieved I couldn't go - the Tuono is a bit of a handful in the wet.

I found the original air filter last week (in the K&N box). If you want it just pop in. I also forgot to give you the abba stand fitting kit, if you don't want it I'll post it on the site as a giveaway.

Cheers
Rich

Jabba, that site is cheaper than where I got mine, so I'd recommend that one. Re the size, mine is a large and it's a bit loose on me (although not ludicrously so). So I probably agree with Mass that you want a medium. Used mine again today to get back to Ciren and again, not a drop on me ('cept my boots and gloves :( )

You definately have got yourself a really nice bike there mate  well looked after, as I said on Saturday, I remember Rich Curtis putting photo's of her on here a while back, and even then I thought what a nice looking bike.

Plus you keep getting MORE  bits of Rich...jammy sod!

See ye soon mate

Its a cracker - I am very lucky.

Just got to keep her sparkling. Brought her to work today even though weather a bit iffy.

My commute is 3 miles as opposed to your 240 though :)

Take it easy.

Guess quite a few peeps will be going to the annual ride-out? I'm up for that, not camping though.

ijeffery
25-04-05, 09:43 AM
Forgot to say Mass that your bike is a cracker too. Must be a bugger to keep it like that considering the miles that you do?

Not too bad to be honest mate, although Mrs Mass did moan yesterday at me, saying that I had cleaned it twice this week

I bought some stuff from my suzuki dealer last time I was in there, bugga can't think of the name of it now, but it's a lime green colour, works the same way as muc-off, spray on spray off stuff, it was onyl £4.50 for a litre (don't know if that's expensive, compared to muc-off).
But it seems to do the job.

Yeah deffo up for the Annual ride-out, checked out the link last night, it looks great! not into the camping thing either, as I will probably have Nagai and others coming down on that weekend to join in the ride-out.

I guess there'll be a little gathering before then? if not see you there
