I got this today :D :D :D
http://wyrdness.org/images/bike.jpg
It's limited to 3500rpm for the first 100 miles. I've only 30 done so far, but have a bad cold so I wasn't feeling like riding much. I need to get some more miles on it quickly, as it's embarassing being beaten at lights by scooters. I've already have a bus driver stop at a junction an d ask me about it.
Off for painkillers and rest now :(
It's just all engine isn't it!

The previous set of wheels (below) wasn't too shabby looking, just heavy and slowish. Hopefully I'll make it down to Soho some time soon. This Friday, the foxy one and I are going to Belgo in Covent Garden for an evening of belgian beer and food, so I won't be riding down then.

Thanks. Harley already flogged, I'm afraid. The insurance money for the nicked SV, plus selling the Harley more than paid for the Triumph :D

Now thats a cool bike. Still not convinced about those short cans. Much prefer the 'old fashioned' one.
But hey, otherwise one of the nicest bikes on the market at the mo imho.

I was going to have a test blast on the new KTM DUKE. I was intrigued by it's quirky looks and plenty of power plus reputadly great handling. However now having looked real close at the Triumph and sat on the DUKE it is no contest at all....If I were to go naked...It would be on the Triumph no doubt,no question!  8)

I was tempted by the Duke too. I sat on both the Duke and the Triple at the MCN show and the riding position on the Triumph was far more to my liking.

A mate was looking at one of those...
...as a first bike!
I, and the gentleman at Fowlers when he went to look at one, put him right :) He's looking at a Daytona 650 instead, still nippy, but not quite as mental.
It's beautiful. Real classy bike. Lucky sod!!
Wonder why you chose black :?:

I dunno... They're both gorgeous but the Triple just seemed a bit too small. Not physically small, it just looks small, if that makes any sense... In the same way that the SV looks solid and substantial to me. It just took away a bit of the impact of it. Still looks fantastic but not as knock-out impressive. Still, the Triple's probably the more sensible choice of the two (as if anyone cares about sensible!)
