Can someone explain the curvy model petrol light procedure to me please?

I've always filled up when the light starts flashing, because I dont wanna risk running out!

As far as i know (remember) :

Once the light starts to flash you have 3 liters left.
Once it stays on 1 liter.

Hope this helps

When it gets low it will start flashing, when it gets REALLY low it will stay on perminant if I remember correctly.

If you turn the bike off whilst the fuel light is on when really low on fuel and then turn it back on again it will flash really really fast to get your attention.

In all other circumstances the fuel light will always come on when you switch the bike on for a few seconds and then go off.

Simple mate, Just look at the readout on the petrol bowser when you fill up and subtract that figure from 16 litres, voila. Not really rocket science

its 3 litres.. give or take a bit...

And don't be in the mountains of france like I did looking for a petrol station with the light on solid, and when you do fill up you put in 15.75 litres.... soo close..

Best fuel stop I ever did was 50.01 litres into my 47 litre tank in the car
