its body possition, you don't need to get the bike that far over to get your knee down... Its a good feeling but it will probably make you slower in the trying...

Yes I can/could. including the pegs. It IS all down to technic, and 95% of the time your corner speed will suffer, but it is fun.

Moved to biking issues

Totally agree with BigApe, I know people who can get the bike on its rims yet not get their knee down. It position and technique. But whenever I'm knee down I'm not necessarily at my quickest - but it is nice hearing the sound of plastic puck on tarmac.

Went for a blast with another guy on a 749 yesterday....and he rides fast! I noticed and was impressed by how he did not reposition his body at all for cornering and was very swift and smooth. I in comparison crawl all over the bike for cornering! Never had knee down and would agree that cornering speed would suffer due to what you are trying to achieve. 8)

I think the sound of titanium on the tarmac sounds even better

Not as good as the sound of the bikes behind you getting quiter as you leave them for dead!!!

You can have both.
