07:30 Polish War memorial, A40, Northolt, West London
07:50 Lay by on A355 Junc 2 M40
08:15 Oxford Services, M40 Junc 8A

From here just follow A40 all the way to Burford for 09:00

Hi there, should be going on Saturday to stay overnight at a local place and meet on Sunday. Would be happy to ride out with any Londoners on Saturday if you want. Unsure whether will have pillion in tow though...

is the war memorial obvious, ie just turn off the a40 at northolt and there it is?

am almost certainly coming on sunday morning.

I had originally planned to go up on Saturday, but that now looks very unlikely so I'll be taking the above route.

Polish war memorial is at the junction of the A40 and the A4180, to the Northern side of the dual carriageway, to the East of the airfield.

If anybody intends on meeting the "party" at any of these points can you let me know then I can make sure we definately stop off at them.

My plan is to meet you guys at Jn2 off the M40. I assume you meant the layby on the link road to your right (joing up with the A40) as you come up the offramp heading west?

Just need to get the puncture in my rear tyre fixed now!

Err yes... Between the M40 & A40 on the A355. Suggest you sit in the "West" lane heading towards Slough, then I (we) can come past you, round the roundabout, and up to the lay by.
