I was just having a look at the white power rear shocks and noticed that they dont do the race rear shocks for the SV, however they do do GSXR ones.
Now i've noticed people have put stock GSXR shocks on their SV so does this mean that the WP ones should fit the SV as well?

I'd imagine you could if you cut the battery box.

If was going to spend that sort of money on a shock - or any other bit for that matter - I'd want the one that worked right, not just one that could be fitted. Whether or not the battery box or anything else would need to be modded would depend on whether the WP shock has the reservoir on the shock body, like the GSX-R one does, or whether it's mounted remotely on a hose. This is not a significant difference functionally it's just a matter of convenience, I'd imagine that the WP shock suitable for the GSX-R would be sprung differently and would also be a different length, if you're going to spend that sort of dosh, I'd buy one meant for the job.

Wp do an SV shock, or have done anyway... Cerelesschucka's got one on, and I've seen a few others. But the Squid's right as ever, don't **** about with somthing that fits, there's a lot more to it than that.
