Anybody using a Viper end can. Checked them out at biker-bitz.co.uk.
I like the look of 'em but the suppliers don't do a link pipe!? Anyone fitted one, how'd you do it and where can I get a link pipe?
Cheers
Rich :?

Bought one last week, with the link pipe. Fitted it on sunday morning before work . took me about an hour and a half but then i am a girl so rubbish at that sort of thing. Sounds really good tho, much better than the stock one.

Right then you want
www.biker-bitz.com
They sell viper cans, baffles(£12.95) and link pipes (£14.95) the part No. for the link pipe is CNP406.
Really nice when i rang them up as well as an easy to use web site.
Just click on the exhausts, then viper and it's all there in it's multicoloured glory.

They say I'll need to get a link pipe made up at an engineering firm as Viper don't make one for the SV! Soooo, where does that leave me? :? If you've got one, it fits and the part numbers you have are correct, I should be laughing. :D
How's it sound BTW?

It's sounds so much better than the stock exhaust, i'm just waiting for the complaints from the nieghbours when they get annoyed at the noise every morning at 7am. But even if i put the baffle in they still won't like it. It's great.

Yeah but biker-bitz do them for £14.95
I have a Carbon Viper Race Can without baffle on my SV650S. Looks very nice and sounds even better. It's just the way I like it. Doesn't make too much noise when just idling along but when you accelerate.... :D :D :D

Thats the one i fitted last week, like you say for the extra £15 it's gotta be the oval.
The removable baffle is a bit naff tho, you have to trim it if you want it to fit flush with the end of the pipe. Not that i've put mine in, it's under the seat in case of emergencies.

It's a bit of a struggle to get it alll connected up but then you need it to be tight. But if i can do it any one can.
Not sure about refitting the standard only put mine on last week.

mmmmmmmmmmm......
Probably will still buy the oval viper with the baffle (cant resist the deal) but will look at modifying the baffle to make sure it doesn't stick out like a sore thumb.

Got myself an alloy oval Viper can about 6 months ago. Trouble is, its blowing from 3 of the rivets. Any ideas why? Could i just replace rivets to cure it?

I'd drill all the rivets out, re-pack it & re-rivet ther whole thing up again... Suppose this is why they're only cheap :?:

Hi All,
Thanks for your input  . Fitted the Viper last night....WOW! Sounds absolutely ace  . Just a bit concerned about the "Competition Use Only" stamped on the outlet :-k ! Is this gonna be a problem come MOT time [-o< ? What about plod :plod: ? Guess I'll carry the baffle under the seat and claim it 'just fell out officer'! :D
