It's not diffuclut, is the only advice I can offer... Get the manual off the main site and take it from there.

Remembers it's a forks-out-of-the-bike job so you'll need to support the front- first time, I used a normal paddock stand and a small jack, with a big bag of salt (think sandbag) thrown over the rear wheel to stabilise things and it worked a charm... When I did the strip for powdercoating I put it on the abba though.

Nope :) No viceing required, at least not when I did it. You can loosen the major bolts while they're still in the yokes, and they'll act as a clamp.

Borrow an abba or NWS stand off someone if you can, it's not essential but it's easier and safer... Having said that I've seen it done with a bar through the empty hole at the bottom of the engine and a pair of axle stands, looked pretty solid. Or you can hang the bike from a joist in your garage if you have a garage, or from a big solid a-frame ladder if you have a big solid a-frame ladder. Though I think that'd get in the way quite a lot.

got a A frame that uncle has made purle for takeing engines out of bikes (looks like a swing most of the time so his wife didnt complian and the kids get a swing  ) So i can surport bike on that me thinks.

How long would u say it would take?

Took me a couple of hours taking it fairly slowly- although I did get one of the damper rods stuck and have to spend ages fighting it with a broomhandle. Putting in the bushings is a bit fiddly too. Pretty straightforward at the end of the day.

I'd had a fork in bits before though so I might be exaggerating the simplicity of it, to be fair.
