Decided to give my bike it's weekly wash the other day and got to some hard scrubbing with the autsol on exhaust (hasn't been done for a while  ) It came up all sparkly and new looking  .
Read the destructions and said it was ok to use on chrome and metal surfaces. I wonder.... What'll happen if i bang some on the rims :-k ?? Scrubbed round a bit and noticed it started to pull finish off #-o . B******s . Oh well might as well do it all thinks me. 6 HOURS LATER i had a polished front rim that our lass could put her makeup on in. Just another tube and 6 more hours and the back one will be done.
Gonna cost me a total of £10.98, 12 hours hard graft and loads of elbow grease for a set of polished rims. \:D/ Just hope they don't start to turn colour with water etc. on now exposed rims.

I'll update with pics when i get camera fixed.

Thinking about doing mine - but with nitromors rather than solvol  ( for a start anyway ) Belgom Alu works well like solvol, but puts a better protective coating on once polished - or you could always stick some wax polish over the top.

Buffing wheel on a drill works too but for gods sake don't try and rub the anodising off the swing arm - I did that once on a DRZ - took me all week with a sander ... mind, looked great when it was done

Look forward to the pics of the rims
