@#*!!*#! I think I have managed to ride twice since the start of April without getting soaked. My leathers are wetter than the Captain of the Titanic's belt.

Where does it mention rain in the adverts???

I voted for option one on the proviso that this section was removed "No, you just live at the foot of the Pennines" :)

I appreciated it. Perhaps we need to coin a new term. For example:
'Its looking right Peter Henry this weekend, anyone up for a ride?'

I've never heard of "lucky git" weather

I've heard of "Kamikaze Wather" though, i.e. "there's a nip in the air"*

*No offence intended to anyone, anywhere, anytime. I was just recounting what someone said to me 8-[

  NICE one!!

Or perhaps, to wildly paraphrase an old Midlands saying: "It looks like Peter Henry over Bill's Mother"

I beg to differ.........

The attempt at humour was honourable. The joke itself, however, might not have been. IMHO.

I must be one of the lucky ones, been out and about a few times on the bike and not got wet once

Had a lovely long weekend beginning of May, Telford/Wales, some fantastic weather on some fantastic roads.

I've been more aware of how windy it's been for the past couple of weeks... I take great joy from being blasted around on the A13 and even more when I'm filtering thru nearly stationary traffic and it funnels under lorries trying to push me into the cars I'm passing...
