Trackday on Monday

Lads,

Haven't been on here in a while.

Just wondering if anyone from the forum is doing the trackday in mondello on Monday? I'll be there on my 250 and a mate on an SV650s.

Sure if anyone is I'll be on a black cbr250 with a white arai lid

Might see some of ye there :D

Have you already booked for the trackday?

It says on the website that bookings for Monday are now closed.

but maybe only the advanced group is full. Have a goodun anyway.

Yeah I booked last Monday. Until this year you could book over the phone and then pay on the day or just show up on the day but now you have to pay in full before it. You should do the next one :D

Really hope it dry and sunny on Monday :?:

Little tip for you rob,
if your gonna be going hard i suggest you watch turn 2 as it is opposite camber so just watch it there!

Think it's only on the national circuit on Monday so no turn 2 thank God :D Have enough trouble with the last turn lol

might not make it up now push rod seal is gone on the TL causing it to weep oil..rather not ride it like that,

The morning session was fantastic :D It was on the full international track and all. Turn 2 was interesting alright :lol: hadn't been on it before. Was nice and sunny there and the 1st 2 sessions were my best yet. Did 3 wet trackdays last year so having it dry was great, so much grip :)

Was in the intermediates as well and thought I'd be dead slow on the 250 compared to everyone else but the 250 was brilliant. You can carry so much corner speed and only really lose out on the straights. I was really trying to push it a lot of laps and the 250 just took it all in it's stride. Lots of kneedown action as well so well chuffed. Stuff really started to click and I was putting in consistent laps. Lots of racers in the intermediates to so it was class trying to match them round corners and sussing out their lines etc.

At lunchtime there was a massive thunderstorm so the afternoon was cancelled. Got a voucher though for another one so not too worried!

sounds like you had a blast,
its always good to follow the lines of the racers,they know there stuff,
yeah corner speed on the 250's is unreal..GET OUTTA THE WAY 998!

Yeah stoopid Ducati riders, there was loads of em down including a 998R :notworthy: . On the last session before lunch it started drizzling a bit and they all hid in the pit garages and wouldn't go out lol.
