I have a pair of Sidi Vertabra boots that are about 18 months old and are in good condition. The problem is the zips have gone on both feet.
I do not want to spend £160 for a new pair when there is no real need.
Does anybody know of a place that will replace the zips.
Cheers
Matt

Surely a 'leather repairs' speciallist will do it for you :?: Do a search (http://forums.sv650.org/search.php) for 'Leather repair' or 'leather alterations' ;)

See this thread I posted a while ago. No cost - not even postage. It's worth a try at least.

Interesting little post, the zip tag has gone on mine as well. I went for the self fix method, paper clip and electrical tape!
Obviously a fault on Sidi boots of about 18-24 months old.

If it's just the tab that you pull on to do up / undo the zip then you can get replacement "tabs" for about £2. I had to get a couple from my local Hein Gericke due to zips snapping off of boots. They don't feel as substantial as the originals but they do the job and are easier to use than a paper clip.
