Boys and Girls....

The weather for this week is looking rather good, and despite this not being a traditional SELKent week, I'm rather tempted to make my way down for Tuesday evening...

So... who'll join me?

Don't I know it, went up to Telford the other week for the VFR Agro, nearly killed me, not used to all those miles. Will be taking it easy for a while, I gotta build up the miles though, going to Scotland in September!

So... who'll join me?

Hi all - I've recently joined in with the shenanigans in Soho on Fridays... but will be guided down by Billy tomorrow on my borrowed bike (either a Fazer or an R6) while my Suzuki donkey's in for its service...

Looking forward to meeting everyone! :D

helen
07-06-05, 04:22 PM
Dan - just south of Piccadilly, easily accessed via lower regent street (when you're heading north towards Pic Circus, hang a left into Charles Street (i think), and the square will be in front of you. Turn left at the square itself, then right, and you'll see a long bike bay - i'm parked there, and we'll prob be loitering there too.

Hope this helps

Sudoxe

i'll see you at riverhead :)

Yoghurts also have culture I believe

Billy - the bum is almost on the mend (Damn the French  )
The leg is not really doing anything - just hanging in there, getting in the way
Mrs Toad is not impressed with the scars, and when I get a new bike I am told that I am most certainly not allowed to ride abroad  (or in the wet, or with groups of bikes . . . etc). Bah :crutches:

BillyC
08-06-05, 08:15 AM
Well... I enjoyed last night! :D A nice leasurely ride down, sunshine, blue skies, even if it was a little chilly...

Great to finally meet Aurora and her hubby; and the sight of Dan in a suit was a real treat!

There appears to be a new chef at the pub, or at least new instructions from Harvester Head Office - the burgers now appear to be open, so you can see what's in them!

I hope you enjoyed the trip Cazza... quite a few of us make it down there from London every fortnight.

It's a pitty you couldn't join us Simon - if you're up for visitors, and your wife won't turn us away at the door... let me know where to go, and I'll pop down your way with whoever else is free.

So the next SelKent ride? What was that Joe... a couple of weeks away? Why not... however I'm avoiding the weekend of the 25/26 on the principle of not tempting fate on the the anniversary of my squashing - I'm doing a skydive instead

Well I don't lean it very hard, but the acceleration was generally low. We did 90 at point though so maybe it was just noisy.

Lol, it was funny when we got back though. There's me thinking she was going to say "Yeah it was cool when we went fast!" and the actual response I got was "I was scared ****less!". Oops! Sorry love!

We definately need to get her some leathers though as she's always really cold. :(

BillyC

I wouldn't recommend 90mph... with a pillion that has no protection! :?

Hello! Was good to meet you and Mr Aurora as well - and to see the bike in its pink glory... :D And thanks to Billy, Helen, Dan & Joe for the company on the road too.

Would British Racing Green be a revolting colour for an SV? I suspect it might be... (who's any good with photoshop?)

See you again soon.
