Well heres my story, I bought a brand new SV650K5 (in yellow) and I got it because of the naked styling, also figuring that the cost of the 'S' version is around 700$ higher (where I live) and for some reason the insurance on an 'S' is about the same as a GSX-R1000. Anyway, its a smooth ride, but in the end I want a windshield and fairing. I've been looking at these full fairing SV's, and I have actually been growing fond of them.

now my problem, kgcycles.com has an ideal fairing for the right cost, but it doesnt fit properly with the 03 and newer bikes, ken suggested with some more custom mods it'll work but the headlight in the 03+ attaches to the fairing where as the older models attached to their own mounting brackets

Does anyone know if there is a company making a model specifically for the K5? is it possible even just to get the 'S' replacement fairing and install it with a new set of headlights on the standard 650, I can't imagine much difference between the 2 of them, and suzuki's lower fairing looks tight, it still shows off the naked styling of the frame without too much cluttered fiberglass.

mostly I just want the windshield with something thats not too painful to look at even from a distance. any ideas?
