Yeah, I was stunned to see how much torque and power the Z750 had, yet nobody seemed to rave about all the extra power, etc. - like it didn't matter that much compared to some of the downsides. Didn't they say something about the SV winning largely because it had no real down side? They also said the bandit was relaxed and easy and a good bike, but just didn't set anyone's hearts (or pants) on fire.

Always  I know different bikes are good at different things, etc. but it always cheers me up when I see stuff that confirms that the SV is as good as I feel it is.

theres always some negative idiot with something bad to say about a bike or car etc, the main thing is what YOU get out of it.
we all love it and so do the experts in bike magazine. (like we needed conformations   )

I agree with them totally too :P
Should you not buy the magazine? or were you just looking for free gifts :D

Ive found I can crash just as fast on the SV as I can on the CBR
so I agree with you. Why do I need a bike I can crash faster on? :? :(
I still can't understand why the SV650 isn't against the law. I just can't believe having so much fun on this bike and its all actually legal.
Cheers! :drink:

I owned an SV400S...... a rare as hell import. Now i own a ZZR600 and i find the ZZR a much better all rounder. suppose the 650 would have had more to it but you cant deny that the ZZR is a superior all rounder, especially for 2 up
