hi I´m thinking about getting a set of Racetech front fork race emulators for my `99 SV650S.
However, Racetech only list the parts for the `01 model and forth.
Will the kit fit my bike?
Do this kit make my shocks adjustable?
Do I need harder/progresive springs with this kit?

Use linear springs (not progressive) with the emulators, as you cannot get a good setting for all circumstances.

Its best to use racetech springs as you can then get the correct weight for you and your riding style.

You'll need either 15 or 20w oil depending on spring weight.

This will give you a fully adjustable fork setup, albeit that you will have to strip the forks for adjustment, the rebound is adjusted by the oil weight and the compression is adjusted by the valve.

Same for all early bikes
Emulators FEGV-S3801
Springs FRSP-S3534-- last numbers being the weight 80 or 85 prob
