View Full Version : Suzuki Race School Anyone?
Anyone been on this course on here? I wanted to haqve my first track day this summer but could not find a suitable date for me. The only way I canget on track at the mo is if I go through them. Anyone been on one of their courses? What did you make of it?
Sorry, I've not done one of theirs... :?
I went on one of theirs back in May and really enjoyed it.
It was my first ever track day and went for the 1-2-1 tuition which I felt was worth it. More focussed on my personal riding skills/areas for improvement.
The only downside I'd say was that the track time seemed to whizz by and felt really short. But then they say time flies when you're having fun - and dear heaven I was having fun.
The bikes were good, and it was nice not to have to worry about your own machine. In fact overall, using another bike for my first time has made me confident enough to use one of my own for my next trach day - and feel I can really use it and not be all nervous and hesitant.
The staff were friendly and helpfull. Not patronising at all unless you acted like a **** - in which case they treated you like a child - rightfully so. I guess every session has one class know-it-all - needless to say that in the session I went on he was the only one to bin a bike... on his second corner too!
Thanks for that, it's all I wanted to hear. Have booked a session for the 27th, can't wait!!!!

I did this in May too. Superb fun - even in the wet.
As K said, the time flies! 1-2-1 was definitely worth the dosh. I would hate someone holding things up in this situation (or to hold someone else up!!)
I was buzzing for an hour afterwards - then promptly fell asleep (too much adrenaline!)
Some pics here if you're interested:

Have a great time on the 27th!

Nice pics. Hopefully it wouldn't be wet (ok too wet) next week!

Hi Noufy.. your post has inspired me. I didn't really know about the Suzuki one - was looking at doing a Ron Haslam one at Donington. I've booked for the 27th at 9:30am. :D
Having a one-to-one lesson though as I really feel I need it. I can be a bit slooooow in the corners.
Hey Cazza, well done. Looks like we'll be on same course!

:D See you there. I'll even let you overtake me if you're lucky...
Lol, got my cofirmation pack last night. Bit worried now
Where abouts in N London are you? If I remember correctly you're somewhere near Bickerchic? I'm in Palmers Green/Edmonton borders
Will be going up there Friday night with the family, thought we'd make a weekend out of it. Just need to find something fun for the kids for the Sunday now.
