Hey,

Now officially part of this board if you all accept me, i picked up my new Sv650 today fitted with DHM crash mushrooms and had a great ride home even though it was slightly wet and am hoping to get out later if it dries up!
Was about to add pictures but can't find how to?

Thanks
Mark

Yeah the shovel is going, thinking of replacing with the Rsend or tail tiday need to look around first!
Aftermarket can is a no no at the moment cos im resticted and quite like the sound of it!
Move the tax disc to where?
I am currently thinking of changing seat cowl, getting hugger and fender extender and some other stuff hopefully
Thanks for the nice comment

Does look nice and when you hear an aftermarket exhaust you will think the original sounds naff :D

What would look nice on that would be twin exhausts i reckon on the same side maybe, make it a mean streetfighter machine

i cant even see the tax disc holder on there! lol. so i say it looks fine to me.

good free mod though, get those stickers off! they ruin a black bike.

wd40 and a plastic credit card do the trick. also a hair dryer!

nice bike :)

Would it not be a better idea (and much more sensible) to spend the cash on additional training, eg IAM? Just a suggestion. After all, it's your money...

Nice bike.

Putting an aftermarket end can on the bike will not increase the power output. I am restricted and have a blueflame on mine.

IMO a tail tidy is worth the effort & does improve the look of the bike.

Also definatley get a fenda extender well worth the £17 & 10mins work. It will prevent the front spark plug getting soaked if your riding in the wet . You don't want to be running on one cylinder &/or cutting out!

Just my tuppence worth!

Thanks for all the views :D
Have ordered in a seat cowl today which should arrive in a week. When that arrives will remove grab rail as well and also get rid of pillion footpegs! Also have in mind for the moment fender extender(from hein gericke, ordering on monday) hugger and also hamicad tail tidy. Should hopefully get pictures up along the way.
edit: meant to say have now completed first stage of run-in (600miles) so increased the revs a bit and way-hey its fast but of course sensible. I am restricting speed tests to my private circuit

Mark

Are you talking SV or Makosi?

Couldn't agree more with one, need therapy for the other!

i had mine restricted but decided it would be better without it....and it was, also a new can will surely make you think the standard can sounds poo. enjoy the worlds cleanest blackest sv
