Front page on MCN today. This looks awesome. Borrows the engine from the GSXR6, 100bhp.

May have to abandon the SV for this beaut when its out later this year! £5,500 (est).

What'ya think?

Is that definately going to production then? No more Bandit 6s once it does, I reckon. I want one, with a different tail section losing the grabs, a black swingarm, differet exhaust, and different headlights. Anyone know how different hte present 600 and 750 engines are physically?

Only thing is, if it does go ahead will it be an honest to god GSXR600 motor or a detuned version, or even an old one? Iut looks like a recent model but remember, the Bandit 6 we have today can be said to be GSXR engined :)

Also, I really fancy calling into my local Suzuki dealership... "I want one of those... But will you discount me if I don't take the engine?" :)

I fell in love with this bike when I first saw it a year or more ago... it'd be wrong not to get one. This could be the successor to the SV!

Come on.. it looks like it was dropped on it's head at birth! I've always hated mini fairing anyway..

The side fairings definately have the ER6 thing going on. Or the other way round, since the concept for the B-King came out ages ago.

I really don't like the headlight but that's trivial, you could sort that in an afternoon. It reminds me of the reader's bike's page in Streetfighters, there's always one with a really ugly scooter headlight :)

Hmm, looking at the concept that was released years ago, it seems that either MCN or Suzuki have done a little photoshop work. Almost everything is identical to the concept, even the position of the wheels/tyres etc. They have just added different bars, fairing, paintwork and grabrails and a pillion seat.

I'd be disappointed if MCN have done this themselves just to sell their rag.

Well I would certainly find space in my garage for one! I really do like that! Looks like Bandit/Hornet/Fazer owners are gonna have their hands full with that baby! 8)

The MCN headline is for the B-King 600 - but the picture shows the B-King 1300 (ie the 'busa based bike). There are no pics of the 600 but MCN says it wont have the braced swingarm and the engine is different (of course!).

I bought MCN again because I had a 50p off voucher from RiDE, and to look through the classifieds. Not convinced tha the standard of reporting has improved though.

They also seemed to like the new MZ ST

have to agree with jon - looks like a big fat man has come along and sat on its headlight.

I think it looks a bit runty.

Er, dont you mean that that the er6 looks like the b-king??? Come to think of it, the MT01 is smilar to the B-king as well.

When the concept was realeased, oooo, 4 years ago, it was rumoured to have a supercharged busa engine in it. Now its getting released with a 600!! Great.

I like the look of it, but feel that theres just gonna be to many clones.

Nope - but there is the 1300 Hyabusa engined one !! :D (pity Suzuki didn't have the 'b*lls' to build the original concept version complete with supercharger though !!)

This is what may tempt me !! :D :D
