From my man in Japan.
Or something.
"For those of you who are interested, the lastest news on the ER6, hot of the press, as of last night.
They are now due out towards the end of October, but that date has slipped once. This will be the first batch and a few will be for sale, but most will be registered and put on fleet, i.e. given to testers etc.
The next batch will then not be out till February
Infinity York, will be getting 4 in in october, they hope, 1 in each of the colours, and 1 of them is aleady sold, unless that can get a replacement."

Luv the Bking when I first saw it as a 1300cc, now that its in a 600cc may be even more tempting. But My heart still says 749 though! Can't wait for the NEC then I can make my mind up for next spring.
ANyone see the review of the er6 in TWO magazine ?
It gets quite a good write up, the phrase "watch out sv650" is the final verdict.
Not sure about the front end styling though.
Not sure about the front end styling though.
The whole thing looks blardy awful.
BKing 600 looks good from a spec point of view. If they skimp on the suspension units it could be a bit crap with a gixer 600 motor shooting you over the bumps.

I think the Bking is about to widdle all over kawasakis Z750/Z1000/ER6 parade in terms of performance and styling.
A lot of reviews have said "watch out SV650" with regard to the ER6... can't see why, it doesn't appear to even match it in most fields... or maybe we're all a bit biased :D it's a nice bike, nicer than the ER5 but... hey look, an SV650!
Biking press has found it hard to accept the SV650 (about as hard as it found it to accept that the new fazer 600 wasn't as good as the old one). They've started coming round to admitting it, but I suspect they'd be happier with the ER6 being rated as a better bike, if only because the SV blurs the lines between sports and commuter a little too much for a lot of the bike press to be happy with, unlike the learner/commuter ER6.
