Just got off the phone to those nice people at ccc.
My oval stainless twin outlet with falling out baffle is on its way
I had a similar problem with the baffle on my Scorpion. Bloody nightmare.

the baffle out of my akrapovic actually did fall out on my way to donnington for the motoGP this year. Anyone know where I can get hold of one on the cheap?
Next thing, we'll have people on here asking if you can get an aftermarket can that's quieter than the oem one!

I fitted a Renegade "not for road use" end can to my K3 quite easy really although i did go thru about 7 hacksaw blades getting the bloody standard end can off. Now it pops and farts like a good 'un

From what I gather...nothing that carries the name AKROPOVIC....comes cheap! yeah, yeah build quality.blah,blah...but even so. Try and borrow one and get a mate in an engineering shop to knock one up for you at a fraction.

Its really easy, and it sounds even better than everyone says!!
You can get decibel killers and the like from Fuel Exhausts. They're a UK company and have a website somewhere aswell as an Ebay shop that stocks some cheaper stuff. Check them out if you need a baffle.
Mine sits quietly under the seat where it belongs :D

To answer bikageboy & Cloggsy I do on occasion think that my exhaust might me a bit loud and it would be useful to put the baffle back in. For instance theres a stretch of road out Bishop's Stortford way that I like sometimes I'll ride up and down for a while and as it goes through a village I'd maybe put the baffle then.

Piece of p*ss mate. Angle grinder for most of it (I put some wood over my swingarm & took off my peg (after I ground it a little)) Then I used a hacksaw for the last little bit. All goes together very easy
